New Toy?

So, what is this?

There's a computer on in his room. I think he's logged into something..wait a moment. I just have to move around him; he's lying on the floor, sleeping like a baby. Well. You'd maybe think he was sleeping, until you looked closer and stood over him and you felt his blood, sticky and warm, oozing between your toes.

Vampires? A Vampire blog? Ha! He said he was fascinated by them. He said he didn't believe they existed. This Twilight thing he was going on about... I really can't be bothered to listen, but it seems everyone is talking about it. It's so hard to nod and smile at them, when you can feel the anger bubbling up inside you and you just want to say 'Come on, forget that. Come with me. I promise, I'll be so much more interesting than a film.'

I think he got a little more than he bargained for, when he met me. 'Are you interested in vampires?' he had said. 'Do you like Twilight?' He was geeky and awkward and extremely boring. But I nodded and said yes, like you hear these young teenagers say. That's the thing. I'm frozen in the body of a seventeen year old. I have to understand what they like. I have to try to be like one of them.

Things are so different now. Sometimes I can still remember the past. Just a flicker, then it's gone again. But the present excites me. This boy, this vampire dis-believer. He soon changed his mind. I changed it for him.

I like this computer. I think I shall keep it.

So I'm here...

It's hard- when you're shy. It's hard to talk about love and all the Edward Cullen girly abstaining teeth bearing blood stuff.
One thing though- I don't look like a potato now- do I?

I don't have a lot of time. It'll be dark soon.

But one thing I can tell you- real life is nothing like the movies.

And I should know.

Tom Stokes

Tom Stokes is the kind of boy you can get to do just about anything. "Pliable" Tracey G says. "Like a puppy dog," I say. Don't get me wrong I wasn't exactly experienced with boys. Not that I let on, you know how it is. Tom always had a thing for me, so they said. But it took him ages to ask me out. We were on the school field, when he did. Tracey and me were watching the sixth-formers play footie (hunky they were) when Tom appeared, with his hands in the pockets of his blazer, looking all shifty. He started talking to me and Tracey starting blowing kisses and pretending to spew in her fake Gucci bag that her dad brought back from Las Vegas. And Tom was babbling on about Man U and his mum and his dad's favourite food and what did I think of crocs as his sister has this obsession with them and has them in all colours. I think going through the list of colours was taking it a bit far but I listened anyway and tried not to look at Tracey. I suppose he thought I would be interested. I suppose I was but I didn't let on. I do like crocs. Pink ones are cool.

Anyway, so then he did that looking at his shoelaces, twisting his hands behind his back so the blood ran out kind of thing boys do. And then he said, "So how about it?" I thought I'd missed something. But then he added, "You could come to mine and we could watch X Factor together." So I said yes. I fancy the one who looks a bit like a white Michael Jackson but sings like Bonnie Tyler. Anyway that was the start of it. But we had our first fight cos I wanted to watch The Vampire Diaries after and he said it was shite. So I showed him the top part of my left breast, I mean just the flesh bit, not the nipple and he said alright maybe it wasn't as shite he thought.

Told you- like a puppy dog.

He was quite cute in a nerdish kind of way. And soon I had him reading Twilight. He thought that was crap til I told him I thought of him as my Edward Cullen . Of course really he looked like Edward the potato with a high forehead and gozzy eyes.

So when it happened. By 'it' I mean that night- when... well, I'll not tell you now. But I will soon. I need to know I can trust you first. When I was exsanguinated and left in Epping forest I was supposed to be meeting Tom. We were supposed to be going to the chippy for fritters. But I never showed and he walked home on his own.

I saw him.

I saw him when he got home and sent me about 20 texts. He must have thought he'd been dumped

I saw him weeping like a baby too when the police came to his mum's house to tell what happened.

That's why I knew I had to start the Blog. I needed him to believe, like proper believe, so we could be together. OK so he didn't look like Edward Cullen... but I liked him. And I didn't look like Bella. But I look so much better now.

So I will tell you how I came to make Tom one of us.

Maybe Tom will Blog too... maybe he can tell you

Maybe you're out there Tom?

You never know.

Epping

I won't tell you all that happened to me. Not yet. I was found in Epping Forest but it's not where I died.
The coroner wrote exsanguination on the death certificate. That was before my body disappeared but of course you all know why that was. Or you do now, right?

I'll leave the details for you to read, in the book. About the bout of teenage run aways in Epping. Not all of them were of my doing.

My mother thought she saw me at the house before I, well... do what we do. She thought there as a ghost there you see. But I had to make her believe what I really was. I had to.

You see you can only become... immortal if you believe.

My father doesn't believe. But then you should already know that, right?

I have to be careful of Gary and this team of his... werewolves...hiss........

And so will you...

Soon....

Soon...

Soon...

I am Helen Gray

My name is Helen Gray and I am officially...dead.

Yes dead, dead as a Sunday when there's sweet FA to do. That's when I used to have a life.

Dead as midnight.

Dead as the 66 followers of my original Blog that some fella called Gary killed.

Gary is head of the Vampire Hunters.

Except I'm not really dead at all.

I am the undead.

And this what happened to me...

But only follow if you really beleive in vampires.

My mother is the official keeper of this Blog, now I've gone, right? But she is useless on the computer even after her IT course at the school. So she will log in as me sometimes...
I'll Blog when I can. So follow if you really beleive. And I mean really believe.
ABSOLUTELY NO FAKES.

Be careful what you wish for.
